Shelley Shayner

Shelley Shayner (the Artistic Mystic), is an author and illustrator of children’s books and adult non-fiction books. She is deeply connected to animals and nature and is an expert at interpreting the signs, symbols, and synchronicities that originate from them. Shelley also has a B.A. in Illustration and has won awards for her artwork. Her most recent book,  Discover Your Spirit Animal was published in 2023. She also wrote and illustrated a middle grade novel, The Dreylyng Prophecy, and has also published My Tarot Journal. In addition, she has short stories in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Dreams and Premonitions, and Tall Tales and Short Stories from South Jersey. She is an active member of the South Jersey Writer’s Group and resides with her rescue cat, Jasper, in Blackwood, New Jersey.
